Hello Friends

Hello,
     I'm new to the blogger world, so I'm not quite sure how to start this. I figured I would give a little into post before I dive in. My name is Kate. Most of you probably already know this as I doubt anyone but my family will find this. But I introduce myself none the less. I had been meaning to start this blog for a long time. I originally wanted it to be a blog about developing domestic qualities- cooking, crafting, cleaning etc.- in order to obtain a husband. Well I did that (brush my shoulder off) before I started this blog. So now I get to write about domestic endeavors of my own home, as opposed to doing everything at my moms house.
     I married my husband in may 2011, only 4 months ago. We currently live in San Antonio, TX. We are both from Utah and don't really understand why Texans have pride in the state, bless their hearts, they probably have never been anywhere else. Really its not a bad place, I just happened to move here during the longest hottest summer in Texas recorded history. So I have somewhat of a bad taste, especially leaving my beautiful state of Utah behind... Anyway, we've been married 4 months and I feel like I am really settling into this homemaker routine.
     I love cooking, crocheting, sewing, cleaning/organization, photography, really anything that lets me create. I also love a good deal, so I try to do these things on a budget. I hope in this blog to share just a little bit of the enjoyment I get from these things. So enjoy.    hopefully...
